Making her mark on the 2026 F1 ACADEMY Rookie Test, Alexia Danielsson is taking the next step, joining the grid as the Wild Card entry for Round 5 in Austin.
First climbing into a kart aged six, it wasn't long before the Swede was racing her heart out. By 13, Danielsson had progressed to Formula cars, learning the key skills in Aquilla Formula 1000.
In 2024, she made her first appearance in the Nordic 4 Championship, claiming nine top-10 finishes across the seven-round campaign. The following season saw Danielsson score her first Nordic 4 victory, alongside winning her debut race in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Scandinavia.
Performances like those resulted in Danielsson being selected for the inaugural F1 ACADEMY Rookie Test, where she was sixth-fastest in both sessions. Building on the experience, she joined the Formula 4 CEZ Championship this season. Securing five points-scoring finishes, she netted a best result of P6 in Race 2 at the Autodrom Most.
Selected for the F1 ACADEMY Rookie Test for the second consecutive year, the 17-year-old topped the afternoon segment and finished P2 in the overall classification.
Graduating to the Wild Card spot, Danielsson will be in action at the Circuit of the Americas in the #45 TeamViewer operated by Hitech car.
Racing at COTA in front of such a huge crowd will be an experience I will never forget.
