SHI WEI

The first Chinese driver to feature on an F1 ACADEMY grid, Shi Wei, also known as ‘Tie Dou’, is ready to put on a show in front of her home crowd once again in Shanghai.

Shi enjoyed a positive 2024 campaign, claiming victory in the Challenge Cup at the FIA F4 Chinese Championship in Shanghai, finishing third in the CFGP category. Alongside her single-seater appearances, she has also competed in the Toyota Gazoo Racing GR86 Cup and the China Endurance Championship.

Her F1 ACADEMY Wild Card debut followed at the opening round of the 2025 season, where she lined up for Hitech TGR on home soil. Later that year, Shi delivered a landmark moment for Chinese motorsport by becoming the first Chinese female driver to win at F4 level, taking victory in the F4 Chinese Masters.

Back for more in 2026, Shi will once again take to the track in the #24 Juss Sports car operated by Hitech, determined to build on her historic debut.
