ZOE FLORESCU

Zoe Florescu will be determined to show she's got what it takes when she steps on to the F1 ACADEMY grid as the Wild Card driver for Round 4 in Zandvoort, representing Dirt Is Good.

Florescu first discovered her love for karting aged eight, going on to participate in her first race two years later in the Romanian Karting Masters. Steadily climbing up the Mini ranks in both national and international karting, she stepped up to the Junior category in 2021 and finished second in the International Karting Masters that same year.

In 2022, Florescu won the FIA Girls on Track - Rising Stars junior shootout and went on to compete in OK categories of the CIK-FIA European Championship, Champions of the Future, and WSK series the following season.

After progressing into KZ2 shifter karts for the 2024 and 2025 campaigns, the Romanian was invited to participate in the inaugural F1 ACADEMY Rookie Test in Navarra, securing top 10 times in both sessions. Since then, Florescu has made her Formula 4 debut, racing in the Formula Winter Series and the Eurocup-4 Spanish Winter Championship. Embarking on her first full season in Spanish F4, the 17-year-old has scored a best finish so far of P13 in Race 1 at MotorLand Aragón.

Every session counts, and you must perform when it matters most.
