Alexia Danielsson has been confirmed as the Wild Card entry for Round 5 of the 2026 F1 ACADEMY season in Austin, representing the series’ Official Partner TeamViewer.
The 17-year-old will make her debut off the back of a successful showing at the Rookie Test in Navarra last week, with the Swede topping the afternoon running and setting the second-fastest time overall.
Danielsson’s single-seater journey began in Aquilia Formula 1000 in 2022, progressing up to Nordic 4 for the 2024 campaign and securing her first victory in the series the following season. In 2025, she also won on debut in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Scandinavia and participated in the inaugural F1 ACADEMY Rookie Test, finishing sixth-fastest in both sessions.
This season has seen her compete in the Formula 4 CEZ Championship, achieving five points-scoring finishes and best result of P6 in Race 2 at the Autodrom Most.
Racing around the Circuit of the Americas, her #45 TeamViewer operated by Hitech car will showcase a special edition livery that highlights the role of communities in supporting women’s career progression – on and off the track.
The livery celebrates TeamViewer’s Forward Together campaign, which focuses on how being part of formal and informal communities helps women enter and advance in sports and tech roles. Additionally, TeamViewer’s Women in Sport Tech report, which was produced in collaboration with Loughborough University London, indicated that 55% of women in tech say that being a part of a professional community was critical to their career progression.
Featuring 250 women who have inspired others through mentorship, advocacy, knowledge sharing, career opportunities, and peer-to-peer support, the livery will include members from Austin Women in Tech, Girlstart, Women in Miami Tech and Driven by Us communities.
Karin Fink, Head of Commercial Operations, F1 ACADEMY said: “Motorsports has always had a strong community behind it, and this is no different at F1 ACADEMY. The drivers are supported by so many around them, so it is nice to see some of those communities that inspire change for women, both on and off the track, featured on TeamViewer’s livery. By creating spaces where women not only belong but also have the opportunity to engage and share knowledge, we are able to empower more women to advance, no matter the industry.”
Faith Wheller, VP of Brand and Sports Partnerships, TeamViewer added: “Building on our campaign last year where we brought visibility to role models, this year we wanted to do something just as important to helping women advance. Forward Together highlights the need for communities and the role they play in our careers. The opportunity to support a young talent like Alexia in her F1 ACADEMY debut while also featuring many women who have supported the next generation in other industries is why this livery is so important. We look forward to being in Austin this October to support Alexia in person.”
