A karting standout taking her first steps into single-seaters, Ella Stevens enters her rookie season ready to learn fast and match that on-track.
The Briton flourished as she climbed up the karting ladder, being crowned the British BirelART Cadet Champion and a double English KZ2 Champion. Her standout moment came last season, when Stevens became the British KZ2 Karting Champion, making history as the first woman to win the UK’s premier karting class.
That form carried into her transition into cars. Eyeing a promotion to single-seaters, Stevens turned heads at the inaugural F1 ACADEMY Rookie Test by topping the timesheets.
Joining the McLaren Driver Development Programme and with her single-seater debut under her belt, the 19-year-old lines up in the McLaren Oxagon entry keen to hit the ground running.
