Fuelled by a new sense of confidence this season, Emma Felbermayr enters her sophomore campaign determined to make her mark.
A third-generation racer, Felbermayr’s motorsport roots run deep, as both her father and grandfather competed in the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans. The Austrian began karting aged seven and steadily climbed through the national ranks from the Micro, Mini and Junior levels.
Showing promise on her move into international racing at 13, Felbermayr finished runner-up in the ADAC Ladies Cup, followed by campaigns in WSK-Karting, World and European Championships. That learning curve intensified when she jumped straight into her first single-seater season in F1 ACADEMY with Kick Sauber.
Her breakthrough moment came in Montreal, rebounding from a podium disqualified to seize her maiden victory in a frenetic final lap in Race 2. Breaking into the top 10 in the Standings, the 19-year-old brings the Audi livery to the track for the first time with Rodin Motorsport, and she has her sights firmly set on the top spot.
