Lisa Billard lit up the track on her journey from karting to single-seaters, but she hopes an even brighter future lies ahead in her rookie F1 ACADEMY season.
In 2022, she became the first female to win a race in the French Junior Karting Championship, finishing fifth overall. Selected for the Alpine Rac(H)er programme, her momentum continued with a P3 finish in the French Junior Karting Championship and her maiden podium at an international level in the FIA Academy Trophy at Cremona.
A switch to single-seaters soon followed with a mid-season debut in the 2024 French F4 Championship. A full campaign in 2025 saw the 16-year-old claim the Championship’s Female Trophy title, alongside a best finish of P9.
She showed her pace in the inaugural F1 ACADEMY Rookie Test, setting a best lap just 0.092s off the fastest time of the day. A Wild Card drive in Singapore saw the French racer continue to impress, becoming the first Wild Card entry to qualify inside the top five with her fastest lap.
Backed by F1 ACADEMY Official Partner Gatorade, Billard will contest her maiden campaign with ART Grand Prix, aiming to turn her raw pace into podiums.
