The youngest full-time driver on the grid, Kaylee Countryman joins F1 ACADEMY with Haas knowing her age won’t define her limits.
Countryman began racing on her 12th birthday and it only took one lap for her to get hooked. Competing in a four-stroke Briggs & Stratton-powered kart, she secured multiple podiums in the LO206 J2 Class, alongside a P2 finish at a national event in California.
Progressing to two-stroke karts in 2023, the American claimed her first international podium with a third-place finish in Canada. The next year marked another milestone, as she scored a podium finish in her first open-wheel race in the RUSH SR.
Stepping up to the North American-based USF Juniors in 2025, Countryman recorded four top-10 finished and gained further experience with a two-round appearance in the USF2000 Championship. Countryman got her first taste of F1 ACADEMY machinery during in-season testing in Navarra.
Competing in the UAE4 Series in preparation for the year ahead, the 16-year-old will want to maximise her opportunities as she balances a dual campaign in F1 ACADEMY with Haas and the USF2000 Championship.
