Beating out other young female talents in a shootout, Mathilda Paatz is determined to show why Aston Martin and PREMA Racing were right to put their faith in her this season.
Climbing up the European and World karting ranks, Paatz scored third place finishes in the 2020 ADAC Kart Masters – Mini and OK Junior in 2022, alongside winning the ADAC Kart Masters – Ladies Cup and competing in the 2022 FIA Motorsport Games.
Stepping up into single-seaters with a campaign in the 2024 French F4 Championship, Paatz continued to hone her craft. Her efforts paid off after she achieved two wins in the 2025 E4 Championship – Trophy Woman and her first podium finish in the F4 CEZ Championship at the Red Bull Ring, going on to finish eighth in the Standings.
Paatz’s F1 ACADEMY debut came soon after, scoring a best finish of P11 as the Wild Card entry for Round 4 in Montreal. After scoring a podium in the Formula Winter Series ahead of her rookie season, 17-year-old Paatz will benefit from additional track time with a return to F4 CEZ.
