Following the exhilarating season opener in Jeddah, the 2024 F1 ACADEMY grid returns to action after a short break for in-season testing at the Circuit Zandvoort.

With two days of running ahead of them around the twisty Dutch track, the drivers and teams will be looking to imbed their learnings from Round 1 and maximise their preparations before racing resumes on the streets of Miami in a fortnight’s time.

RUN PLANS

Running from 16-17 April, the field will have 12 hours of track time at their disposal around the 4.259km circuit, which they’ll be returning to for Round 4 in August.

Each day will be split into morning and afternoon sessions, with both days of morning running commencing at 9:00 and finishing at 12:00. On Tuesday, the afternoon session will run from 14:00 to 17:00, whilst Wednesday’s afternoon session will get underway at 13:00 and conclude at 16:00 local time (GMT+2).

Each car will have five sets of slick tyres to play with during the two-day test. However, with the weather forecast predicting downpours throughout, the two sets of wet tyres allocated are likely to see the most running.
