Payton Westcott is about to make her dream come true, as the American driver makes her F1 ACADEMY debut at the series' grand finale on the Las Vegas Strip, racing in the #15 Visit Las Vegas car.
Starting out in competitive karting only three years ago, Westcott has already made an impression on-track, scoring wins, podiums and pole positions. In 2024, she made the jump to European karting and was selected for the Champions of the Future Academy Program with selected participants supported by F1 ACADEMY DISCOVER YOUR DRIVE in the OK-N Senior category.
Transitioning to single-seaters this season, the 16-year-old soon showed her potential across campaigns in the Formula Winter Series, Euro4 and Italian F4 Championships, in which she delivered numerous class wins and podiums. Chosen to participate in the inaugural F1 ACADEMY Rookie Test, Westcott secured the fastest time of the afternoon running and a top-three finish in the overall times.
