Following the conclusion of the F1 ACADEMY Reverse Grid Race in Montreal, three drivers have been penalised.

Firstly, Alba Larsen has been handed a five-second time penalty for causing a collision with Emma Felbermayr at Turn 8. Whilst fighting for position through Turn 7, the Ferrari driver hit the orange kerb and then Felbermayr, spinning the Audi driver.

The Stewards determined that the Larsen did not have the front axle alongside the #5 car’s mirror entering the corner and therefore, the Dane is held wholly to blame for the incident.

Secondly, Ella Lloyd has also received a five-second penalty for colliding with Rachel Robertson at the exit of Turn 14. Following a post-session review, the Stewards determined that Robertson did not brake before the collision and that the PUMA driver was following the car in front of here, therefore, the McLaren driver is deemed wholly to blame for the incident.

Finally, Autumn Fisher has received a five-second time penalty for causing a collision with Ava Dobson at Turn 7. The American Express driver was in front of Fisher at the entry to Turn 7 and after reviewing video footage, Fisher stated it was a mistake and could not avoid causing the collision. Therefore, the Stewards have determined that the Standard Chartered driver is wholly to blame for the incident.

As a result of the three penalties, Larsen is demoted from third to 11th, Lloyd drops from seventh to 13th and Fisher moves down one place from P13 to P14. Consequently, Kaylee Countryman is promoted to second with Payton Westcott completing the podium.

Natalia Granada moves up to fourth ahead of Lisa Billard, Emma Felbermayr, Megan Bruce and Rafaela Ferreira, with the Racing Bulls driver claiming the final point in eighth.
