She's been repping the stars and stripes on the F1 ACADEMY grid, but how did Courtney Crone learn to race?

As part of an all-Haas episode of the F1 Explains podcast, Crone, Oliver Bearman, Esteban Ocon, Team Principal Ayao Komatsu and Race Engineer Laura Mueller all sat down with presenter Christ Hewgill to answer an abundance of questions about their roles.

Recorded at the United States Grand Prix, Crone revealed how working with Haas is helping her racing career, her take on her season so far and how she first got started in motorsport.

"This year has been absolutely incredible," she said. "Weekends where I'm not actually racing, I'm able to come here and work with some of the partners, show them around the garage, speak to them.

"Getting an inside look with the team, being able to sit in on debriefs, do some of the things that the Formula One drivers get to do on a daily basis, it's really interesting for me to be able to experience that myself and learn and be able to take that wherever my racing journey takes me."
