Following the conclusion of today's F1 ACADEMY Qualifying session in Zandvoort, Nicole Havrda has been awarded grid penalties for both Race 1 and Race 2.
The American Express driver was found to have caused a collision with Hitech TGR teammate Aiva Anagnostiadis at Turn 1.
Havrda was behind Anagnostiadis into Turn 1 and locked her tyres, making nose-to-tail contact with the TAG Heuer car. As a result, Anagnostiadis could not participate further in the session after becoming stuck in the gravel bed. The Stewards determined that Havrda was wholly to blame for the incident and have issued a three-place grid drop for both races.
As both Aurelia Nobels and Anagnostiadis have been given permission to start after failing to set a time within the 107% rule in Qualifying, Havrda will start from P16 for both races with her three-place and previous 10-place grid penalties applied.
