Three familiar faces will be getting behind the wheel at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed this week, which runs from July 9-12.
Centred around the theme ‘The Rivals – Epic Racing Duels’, Nina Gademan, Alisha Palmowski and Megan Bruce alongside F1 ACADEMY graduate Chloe Chambers will be taking on the iconic Goodwood hill climb.
Gademan will experience the thrill of a Formula 1 car for the first time. The Alpine driver will hop into the race-winning E20 alongside Pierre Gasly on Thursday, which Kimi Räikkönen drove to victory for the then Lotus F1 Team at the 2012 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Standings leader Palmowski will go for a run up the hill in her #21 F1 ACADEMY car before the Red Bull Racing driver takes the new RB17 Hypercar for a test drive. Meanwhile, Megan Bruce will take her #4 TAG Heuer car for a spin at Goodwood for the first time.
Chambers will make her first public appearance as the Mahindra Racing Formula E Team’s Test and Development driver. The American, who recently achieved her first podium in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America, will take the wheel in the GEN3 Evo M12Electro on both Thursday and Friday.
This isn’t the first time F1 ACADEMY cars have featured at Goodwood. Back in 2024, Hamda Al Qubaisi drove her then Red Bull Racing liveried car at the prestigious event. Meanwhile, Lia Block piloted the Williams FW08, which Keke Rosberg drove to the 1982 Formula 1 Drivers’ title.
