Full of fearless spirit, Ava Dobson is ready to battle it out across her rookie F1 ACADEMY season in 2026.
Starting out in karting aged seven, the American climbed the ranks, scoring wins and podiums along the way. Her transition to open-wheel racing came in 2023, where she competed in the F4 United States Championship alongside gaining experience in the USF Juniors, USF 2000 and the YACademy Winter Series.
Switching from Stateside to European racing in 2024, Dobson made a two-round appearance in the GB4 Championship, taking a top-10 finish on her debut weekend. Returning for a full season stronger than ever, the 17-year-old seized her maiden podium at Donington Park and won the Championship’s Top Female Driver prize.
Flying the flag on home turf, Dobson made her F1 ACADEMY debut as the Miami Wild Card. Building on that experience, she’ll pilot the #55 American Express car operated by Hitech in 2026.
