Ferreira penalised following Silverstone Feature Race

Following the conclusion of the F1 ACADEMY Feature Race at Silverstone, Rafaela Ferreira has been handed a grid penalty.

The Racing Bulls driver was found to have caused a collision with Ella Stevens on the main straight. Whilst defending her position on the main straight, Ferreira moved towards Stevens despite her being sufficiently alongside and the Stewards judged her wholly to blame for the incident.

As the collision resulted in both cars retiring, the Brazilian has been handed a five-place grid drop penalty for the next race she participates in.
