F1 ACADEMY Managing Director Susie Wolff and series alumni Amna Al Qubaisi have been named in the inaugural TIME Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in Sports list for 2026.

Marking TIME Magazine’s first list decided solely to sport, it recognises the most influential athletes and sporting figures who deliver excellence in their fields and also shape sport and culture beyond that.

Wolff was named in their ‘Innovators’ category, acknowledging her efforts in leading F1 ACADEMY and developing the next generation of young drivers as they aim to climb the ranks towards Formula 1.

Meanwhile, Al Qubaisi featured amongst their ‘Leaders’ category. The 26-year-old competed in the 2023 and 2024 F1 ACADEMY seasons, taking two wins in her debut campaign. This year, the Emirati racer became the first woman to race in the Pro class of the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, claiming three consecutive top-10 finishes in the first six races.

Wolff and Al Qubaisi join the list alongside reigning Formula 1 World Champion Lando Norris and current championship leader Kimi Antonelli. Two of 45 inspirational women included, they feature alongside the likes of 14-time multi-discipline Paralympic gold medallist Oksana Masters, Olympic gold medallist figure skater Alysa Liu, World Number one tennis player Aryna Sabalenka, three-time Ballon d’Or Féminin winner Aitana Bonmati and basketball superstars A’ja Wilson, Caitlin Clark and Nneka Ogwumike.
