MP Motorsport moved to the top of the Team Standings after a hugely successful weekend which saw Emely de Heus win Race 1, Amna Al Qubaisi win Race 2 and Hamda Al Qubaisi take P2 in Race 3.

Dutch driver Emely de Heus took her first win of the season in Race 1 at Barcelona and was delighted to be working with a new set-up after a tough opening two rounds:

“Winning is a big confidence boost because I got some bad luck in the first two weekends and I also struggled a bit with the speed, so it is good to know I have the speed in me and I can do better.

“This weekend we did a totally different set-up and that worked better for me after my struggles in the car in the other weekends. Finding something new really helped."

Emirati driver A. Al Qubaisi took her second Race 2 win of the season in Barcelona as she stood on the podium for the first time since Round 1.

“To win the race felt good, I was unlucky in Valencia as I was on the podium but received a penalty, so it’s good to be back winning the second race of Round 3.”

A. Al Qubaisi also looked ahead to her team’s home race next time out in Zandvoort with a positive mindset:

“With it being our home track, we have a bit of pressure to do, but I think we will do well! It is my first time there, but let’s see what we can do.

“We have been working on the car since the very first test and the team and I make a great pair. If something goes wrong, they do not panic, they’re very calm which keeps me calm. They believed in my talent which is always great from your team."
