All You Need To Know: F1 ACADEMY at the FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN DUTCH GRAND PRIX 2025

Hello Zandvoort! F1 ACADEMY heads to the seaside for an unmissable weekend of action, with Round 5 taking place at the FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN DUTCH GRAND PRIX 2025.

Whether you're a long-time fan of the series or enjoying F1 ACADEMY for the first time, we can't wait to welcome you. If you're looking to experience a real-life racing paddock or catch a glimpse of your favourite drivers, don't worry as we've got you covered with all the information you'll need to know this weekend at the Circuit Zandvoort...

SESSION TIMES

Running from August 29-31, the F1 ACADEMY weekend features five sessions in Zandvoort. The drivers will take to the track twice on Friday with two Free Practice sessions, each lasting 40 minutes. Free Practice 1 will run from 10:10 to 10:50 local time (UTC+1) followed by Free Practice 2 at 17:30 until 18:10.

On Saturday morning, Qualifying will set the grid for Race 2 from 10:25 to 10:55. With the top eight from Qualifying reversed for Race 1, the first 30-minute race will take place from 17:05 to 17:40. The big points are scored on Grand Prix Sunday, with Race 2 running from 10:40 to 11:15.

F1 ACADEMY Qualifying and both races are available to watch for free live on the F1 ACADEMY YouTube channel.

HOW TO FIND US

The F1 ACADEMY paddock is located close to the Fanzone and is free to enter. To get yourself in the mood, enjoy a stroopwafel from our stand in the paddock:

Stroopwafel Stand Opening Times:

  • Friday – 10:00 to 17:30
  • Saturday – 10:00 to 17:00
  • Sunday - 10:00 to 15:00

PADDOCK OPENING TIMES

Fans can visit the F1 ACADEMY paddock at selected times across the three days:

  • Friday: 11:20 - 16:30 & 18:40 - 22:00
  • Saturday: 11:30 - 15:45 & 18:15 - 21:00
  • Sunday: 11:50 - 15:00

DRIVER SIGNING SESSION

Want a chance to meet your favourite drivers? F1 ACADEMY will be running three autograph signing sessions across the weekend:

  • Friday 29th August at 15:00 - 15:30 (local time)
  • Saturday 30th August at 14:00 - 14:30 (local time)
  • Sunday 31st August at 14:00 - 14:30 (local time)

Places will be limited and you'll only be able to queue for the signing session if you have that day's wristband.

Spaces are limited. To take part in an autograph signing, you must collect a wristband from a Dutch GP volunteer stationed at the entrance to the F1 ACADEMY paddock. Wristbands are handed out daily at 09:00 and are only valid for the same day.

FANZONE STAGE APPEARANCES

You can catch some of the stars of the 2025 season over on the Fanzone Stage.
