IN STATS: 16 podiums and a title – Our karters’ 2026 British Champions of the Future Academy Program campaign

An incredible 2026 British Champions of the Future Academy Program season drew to a close last month, after our eight F1 ACADEMY DISCOVER YOUR DRIVE karters gave it their all across the four rounds.

As they celebrate a superb haul of silverware and look to the future, we delve into the numbers that defined their campaigns…

  • Overall, 16 podiums were achieved — one in Mini 60, six in the OK-N Junior and nine in the OK-N Senior.
  • An F1 ACADEMY DISCOVER YOUR DRIVE karter reached the rostrum at every round. The finale at Whilton Mill was their strongest weekend, with four drivers earning trophies on six occasions.
  • Sukhmani Khera was crowned Champion in the Junior category with 490 points, sealing the title by a 70-point margin.

  • During her title-winning season, Khera secured pole position for four Finals — Final 1 at PF International and Larkhall, followed by both Finals at Whilton Mill.
  • All three Seniors placed inside the top four in the Standings. Lizzy Mentier led the trio in the runner-up spot, with Emma Rose Dowling third and Eva Morris in fourth.
  • Khloe McGill delivered the only Mini 60 podium of the season, finishing third in the first Final at Whilton Mill. The Briton achieved four top-10 results across the eight Finals, placing her seventh in the Standings.

  • Arshi Gupta recorded two top-10 appearances, with a best result of P7 in the penultimate Final at Whilton Mill. The Indian racer concluded the campaign 19th in the Mini 60 category and fifth in the Under 10s.
  • Khera led the charge in the Juniors, topping Time Qualifying on both occasions at Whilton Mill. The Briton finished inside the top 10 in all the Finals, including back-to-back wins and three P2s.
  • Ava Lawrence netted seven top-10 results, twice registering a season-best P4 at Larkhall and Whilton Mill, on her way to claiming fifth in the Standings.

  • Andie Stewart was close behind Lawrence in sixth. Her five top-10 performances included one podium finish in third at PF International.
  • The Senior trio were all rapid in Time Qualifying. Morris went second-fastest on the opening day of running at Kart Silverstone and PF International, before Mentier matched that feat on Day 2 at both circuits. Dowling also qualified third on the first day of the same events.

  • Mentier amassed six top-five results, four of which were podiums. The Briton finished second in both Kart Silverstone Finals and once at Larkhall, alongside a P3 in Whilton Mill.
  • Dowling’s most successful performance was on Day 2 at PF International, where the South African racer netted her first podium in third, one of her six top-five finishes.
  • Morris rounded out her season with five top-five results, including four podiums. She registered two P2s at PF International, followed by second and third finishes at Whilton Mill.
